Applicants are required to produce the following:-

Themselves in person (in order that fingerprints can be obtained) at one of the following Police Stations:-

1. Springlands
2. Central New Amsterdam
3. Mc Kenzie
4. Leonora
5. Anna Regina
6. Criminal Investigation Department, Headquarters, Eve Leary

Two (2) passport sized photographs if one "copy" of certificate of character is required, or three (3) photographs if two copies are required.

Applicant's Passport if certificate of character is required for travelling or Embassy purposes or

Passport or Birth Certificate for employment.

NB: Identification Card is not a substitute

In the event of a name change, the related document (Deed Poll or marriage certificate) must be produced.

A processing fee of $500.00 dollars is required (receipt will be issued), and the attached form will have to be filled out (forms are avaliable at the Office).

Processing time is five (5) working days.
